On the northeast point of Sulawesi in Indonesia a small strait separates the island of Lembeh and Sulawesi.
It’s a through flow of oxygen rich and food filled water coming from the deep seas around.
But in the Lembeh strait there are also calm current free bays.
An ideal place for young marine life to develop and grow up.
But also an environment where well camouflaged predators are also in search of prey.
